Innovative Design for Minimal Pressure Drop
EvapCare-S features a unique vertical condenser placed inside the wiped evaporation chamber, dramatically shortening the distance between the heated surface and condensation zone. This design yields a very low pressure drop—down to 0.01 mbar (1 Pa) allowing delicate products to evaporate under vacuum conditions that minimize thermal degradation and preserve key properties.
Mechanically Agitated Thin Film for Consistent Performance
Like the EvapCare-W wiped film evaporator, EvapCare-S employs a rotor to mechanically agitate the liquid film on the vessel’s inner wall. The heated surface generates vapor from this film, which travels directly to the central condenser. Vapors condense and the distillate exits via a bottom nozzle, while the concentrated residue collects laterally at the vessel base—ensuring efficient separation and recovery.
