Detailed Engineering


•    Scope: Prepare complete specifications and documentation for equipment, piping, instrumentation, and control systems, integrating Sulzer’s technologies and equipment.


•    Result: A full detail engineering package ready for procurement, fabrication, and construction, ensuring performance targets are met. 


•    Typical Timeline: 4–8 months

Basic Engineering


•    Scope: Develop the selected concept into a validated basic engineering package, including piping and instrumentation diagrams, mass/energy balances, and equipment specifications. For our licensed technologies, typically the license is offered with the basic engineering. 


•    Result: Fixed price proposal for equipment, project planning, and execution strategy. 


•    Typical Timeline: 3-6 months

Concept & Feasibility Studies


•    Scope: Solution proposal for your separation or processing challenge identifying the most suitable technologies through feasibility and conceptual engineering studies. Potentially including trials at one of our test centers. 


•    Result: A clear recommendation on the preferred technology setup and process approach, including guidance on next steps towards project execution
